ARRIVEDERCI!

The time has come. After much effort, lots of work and planning, I'm finally flying to Italy to participate in an international conference.
Feelings? Mixed!
Mostly anxious, as talking in public is not my thing- not at all- and also curious of how I will cope in the end. Apart from these rather annoying feelings, I must admit, I'm over excited for flying (I love take-offs) and visiting Italy again, a country which has become my most favourite so far.
I'm looking forward to unwinding and enjoying myself, as the last three months have been quite exausting and stressful for me, and I'll try not to think about the hard winter ahead of us with the crisis and all. I'm guessing this might be my last escapade... Anyway...
I can't think of many things that actually make me happy, and surely travelling is one of them. So, I'm planning on making the most out of it, trying to take as many pictures as possible, while I'm doing it! In times like these, I wish I owned a proper camera!
Travelling to Italy requires style, if nothing else. Having seen this wonderful idea from Country Homes & Interiors Magazine I made my own luggage tags on my computer.

I chose a map of Italy, added my name and address and adjusted it with a string on my suitcase. It's perfect! I'm thinking that it can also be the beginning of an interesting travel tags collection which will grow according to my future destinations!

What about you?
Have you got a favourite country you always love returning to?
Have you ever been to Italy? Any suggestions ?

Until next time, take care and... arrivederci!

  3. Oooh hope that you have a fantastic time and that the public speaking goes well. It's not my thing either but often the thought is worse than actually doing it!
Max and I have done lots of travelling together but not since Leo and Oscar have arrived! We'd love to go back to India and plenty more places that we've not been to- maybe one day! xxxx
