| We cut vasilopita (a kind of cake) to find the hidden coin the moment the New Year comes, at midnight. The one who finds the coin will have a lucky new year. This was my mum's last year's pie . |
As I wave goodbye, I only hope that it will be a better year for the people in Greece who have been in desperate need during the last three years: the homeless, the people who lost their jobs overnight, the sick people who can't afford a doctor anymore, due to this 'thing' it's been called economic crisis.
This morning the streets are filled with kids who knock on our doors to sing the carols holding their triangles. I hold on to this beautiful sound.
And to all of you, I wish that 2013 will be full of wonderful surprises, health and happiness!
What did 2012 have in stock for you?
I'd love to read your thoughts in your blogs.
So, why not make links and share our reflections on 2012's experiences?
ΚΑΛΗ ΧΡΟΝΙΑ!
Happy New year to you and your family I hope 2013 is a great year for you. I will have to think about what 2012 meant to me. Greenthumb.

Just catching up with your blog- i am so bad at keeping up but it's lovely to have lots of lovely posts to read. I hope that 2013 is a good year for you. 2012 was a mixed bag for me with highs and lows in equal measure but i've got a good feeling about 2013 as 13 is my lucky number xxx
