These boots are made for standing!

Problem, known: 
Boots can't stand, therefore I can't stand it, that they get cracked and that they lie around all over the place.
 This is what I do:



What do you do about it?
Any better ideas?

    That is a great idea! I usually leave my Wellington boots lying on their side but think I will adopt your useful suggestion!
