This posting is dedicated to the Bake & Taste Greek event hosted in my blog in April in which you had to choose one of the six Greek recipes I had posted, bake it, taste it and write a posting about it.
The idea came from you actually, seeing how enthusiastic you were whenever I posted Greek recipes. To tell you the truth, I didn't expect that extent of participation- all of the suggested recipes were tried and tasted!
I was so happy to see that wonderful people whom I have never met were so eager to actually bake my recipes! I was even more thrilled to see that you were so creative and had the chance to get playful! There were some great tutorials, clever twists and wonderful presentations to each and every posting! I was also touched to see that recipes that go back to my grandma and my mum were baked all over the world and their sweet smell filled corners of the world they would never even imagine...
I really hope that you will keep them in your everyday menu and you and your families can enjoy a taste of Greece now and then.
Now, let's see all these creative entries:
Simone from Linden Grove baked Tyropita with a twist of her own! Read all about it here.
Julie from Home Jules baked Galatopita with two twists! Read about her two versions of Galatopita here.
