When I first saw Greenthumb's January Scavenger Hunt, I thought it was such a good idea! Spending a month hunting for photos? Wonderful!
Unfortunately, I was so down with laryngitis that I didn't think I could make it. Still, I decided this past week, that I began to feel better and go out again, to just give it a shot (!) and try to collect as many photos as possible to take part. So, here's what I could find the last minute .
12 :...are the hats my pupils made during our eTwinning European project.
PRODUCE : Orange trees are heavy with fruit this time of year. These here are from my garden, soon to be eaten!
STATUE: I took this photo in Florence last November. I left it for the end, since I couldn't find a statue in my town espcecially for the hunt, wereas I took loads of photos of statues on this trip!
What I look mostly forward to, is comparing the themed photos, as each photographer has a different view of things, not to mention a different context they live in. That will be interesting to see!
Make sure you drop by Greenthumb's wonderful blog called Made with Love. It sure is! And if you liked this month's Scavenger Hunt, you can take part in her February Hunt yourself. For more details, visit her Scavenger Hunt page.
And let me remind you of my TWO GIVEAWAYS!

FOOD: Olive oil is the food of the month for my family. Fresh olive oil and oregano on homemade toasted bread (enter the olive oil giveaway here). Yummy!
WARM: Warm cocoa with a touch of cinammon is the drink that has been warming me up throughout January.
COLD: My feet. Always.
A VIEW: Mount Parnassus in snow. The best wintery view right outside my school.

SIGN : One of my favourite shops in Egio, since childhood. It sells candy, nuts, dried fruit, chocolate, spices, freshly roasted coffee and many more. You can find the shop just by following the amazing smell of roasting coffee beans !
